Many of Judy’s unique handcrafted books are made with Coptic or Ethiopian bindings and wooden covers. Sometimes a tiny window in the cover houses a small treasure. The material used in her books often reflects a cultural history or were saved from the landfill. The collections of books has covers
made of leather, handmade paper, wood or other unique materials and can be used for journaling, photo albums or can simply be a piece of art. The book making journey started with a desire to journal and training the hands and eyes to use pencils, brushes and paints was a way to capture the moment.
